Grell is in possession of a power known as the Cinematic Record, an ability linked to her scythe that is normally used by grim reapers to pass judgement on souls. If someone is cut with the scythe- not just any weapon! - their memories will play out like on a film reel. This means that Grell, the person affected, and any other people around with spiritual sensitivity are able to see it.

The specific memories witnessed are related to the degree of injury; the worse damage, the farther back it can go. Likewise, if the cut is shallow, then less than a year's worth of memories are all that appear.

I will always contact you before this happens, and if it seems possible that Grell would cut and intend to see someone's memories. What she sees is entirely up to you - nothing will be disclosed without permission, and it can show simply one scene, a fragment, or entirely fail to materialize if that is your wish!

If, however, you want her to never be able to utilize this power on your character, please comment beneath so I know for reference. Because this power is an opt-in one and personal, I'd like to offer the avenue of "never under any circumstances" as well.
