At least three. I know maybe four of people suddenly having alterations to features or abilities.

what do we do? i don't want to do nothing about this. but other than waiting for some breakthrough, what could be done?

Before we get into that, one other thing worth noting.
Has anyone you know dropped off the Retrospec app?

dropped off? i didn't check. but if it's booting people off, i suppose i should make it a regular habit.

Do. People dropped from the trial manage to totally forget about all Retrospec-related matters.

Exactly. If everyone can forget horses, then it isn't that strange they can forget Retrospec.

but the specifics are too odd to consider. it's too targeted to be amnesia left to chance. it's like someone surgically removed a fact and replaced it with what was handy.

It doesn't seem any less laser-targeted than Horse Amnesia (HA).

that's what i'm talking about. it's so small, but it's done cleanly. nothing else in the way. real amnesia is a messy thing, not like the movies.

Yeah. This is sci-fi bullshit that should not be possible.

and yet it's happening around us. any theories i come up with sound crazier and crazier, and yet i can't rule them out. can't occam's razor this when no explanation is simple.

i know the exact one you're thinking of, but unfortunately right now i can't rule out much as impossible. our eyes changed color without any warning. that's impossible by all laws of science i know.

i don't know what to do other than to simply go about my life as though this didn't happen and smile when people tell me something's different.

Unfortunately, we can't even rely on empiricism to guide us on this.

if you wake up and your eyes are yet another color, please do let me know. then i might be able to start getting theories and we can argue over who gets to be watson.
